Replacing Brakes/CV boot on 330xi
I've replaced brake pads and rotors on my 1995 E36, but was wondering if the process is pretty straightforward on a 2005 330xi E46. I've never worked on AWD, and would like to know if it is complicated to replace the rotors and pads.
Will I need any special tools? Are there areas that are difficult to access? Additionally, there is a torn outer CV boot that needs to be replaced. Haven't tried this on a BMW before, but remember it was hell on an old 4x4 pickup I used to own. Thanks |
