New vanos solenoids now ses light came on

So I have an 07 328xi n52 engine I use carly to check for codes and do some basic coding so I was getting symptoms of bad vanos solenoids both of them and instead of taking them out and cleaning them i got myself 2 new ones from trq on ********* so I took the old ones out and swapped them with the new ones and took it for a drive afterwards and it was like driving a totally different car I've only owned the car for almost 2 years and have spent alot replacing other major issues that are common with these cars so after going for my test drive and running a new scan with carly I erased the codes then I went back in my house to get ready for my nieces bday party then when I started the car the service engine soon light came on so I scanned it again and erased all codes now I recently got an oil change also but the main thing is my ses light was not on before I swapped the solenoids for new ones and they are in correctly and the car is still running great just can't figure out why the ses light is on now could fixing that have led to a different issue when I go to the service menu there's nothing that needs to be serviced I have 8 codes from carly 3 are for engine next check I do I will take a ss and post it but any idea what could be causing this,? Did I just open a hole new can of worms by replacing them and not just trying to clean them first I'm just a little confused when I erase the codes the car runs 10x better even without taking off the ses light it's still running much better than before so I'm stumped any ideas would be helpful thanks in advance to anyone that can help
