Car won't start (before and after fuel pump change)

Hello, everyone. My 2006, 325i won't start. When it happened initially, I thought it was the fuel pump cause I had it happen in my previous bmw around same milage. I bought and installed a new fuel pump, but still won't start. Instructions said to drain because of high pressure, but I didn't. Otherwise, the spark plugs are dry so fuel has not been getting to them. Any ideas what it could be? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

did you replace the fuel pump relay along with the fuel pump? always a good idea to replace both at the same time.

If the spark plugs are dry, the issue is likely with the fuel delivery. The fuel pressure sensor or injectors may be faulty.
