Hello, I have a 2006 bmw 330xi and my valvetronic gasket is a lot different than this one. It has a similar shape but also has a little circular piece of rubber. I dont know where it goes and I cant get it to sit into the engine.

Look closely at the valve cover and see if the gasket is still installed. Looking at a parts diagram, your gasket should be similar to the one in our tech article.

There are two types of valve covers, metal and plastic. The gaskets are different, the procedures are similar.
