I have a 2007 335i with 130,000 miles. It is using a quart of oil about every 300 miles. I have not seen any leaks and it has brief episodes where it smokes some. Any suggestions on the cause?

Have the PCV system checked, there is a check valve in the valve cover that is supposed to prevent the car from "sucking" oil into the turbos under boost. That may be your issue. Crankcase vacuum at idle should be close to 7 inches of water.

What color is the smoke? Definitely check out the PCV system. That is a lot of oil for so few miles.
