2009 335i Coupe Rear Wheel Bearings

I'm new to the game with the BMW's. I recently went to an alignment shop to have my car fixed. After the inspection I had to replace a few parts. One of the was the rear wheel bearings. I thought it would be easy to get the parts aftermarket and have it replaced until I watched a video on YouTube that said not to use aftermarkets but OEM because the dealer bearings are magnetized and the others weren't. Can someone confirm this for me.

The OEM supplier wheel bearing is FAG. It is cheaper than genuine and can be purchased here: 2009 BMW 335i Base Coupe - Axles, Bearings & Differential - Page 6. It is a sufficient replacement bearing as it contains the magnetic ring needed for the ABS and traction control systems to function. When installing it, just be sure to install with the magnetic side inboard.

Let me know if you have any questions.
