vibration

I have a 94 540i and it vibrates when there is a load ie: taking off from a stop and down shifts, then it mellows out at cruising altitude. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Vibration

I would check the rubber gumbo behind the transmission and the center support Driveshaft bearing. Check the rear brake pads, if they are really thin, they can cause Vibration issues. You did not mention miles, rear bushings can cause problems, but I would check the other things first.
