1995 540/6 - original MT car?
Good morning, I just bought this car and am wondering how to tell if it was originally a manual transmission car. The VIN does not indicate trans type. Thanks!

if the VIN sequence reads "HE53", you've got a factory manual 540i. if the VIN sequence reads "HE63", it's an automatic from the factory.
