Removing Thrust Arms
 

I've received new thrust arms with bushings installed, and need to remove the old ones. I've not been able to get the end with the ball joint to come out of its mount. I've tried a large hammer, and a pickle fork, but since I have car on jack stands, don't have enough room to really wack the bolt or the fork. I would appreciate any suggestions from those who have succeeded in removing thrust arms. Thanks,
