instrument cluster

The instrument cluster on my '89 525i keeps saying to check oil pressure. Two different mechanics have checked and even changed the oil and say there is no problem with pressure. They concur that my cluster may need replacement or perhaps it may be a sensor problem. The thing just dings and dings and drives me crazy. I have to drive with the window open just going B]lalalalalalalalalalalalalala[/B]
Any one with similar experiences? I mean the cluster part.

It's either the sender, the gauge, or you truly have no oil pressure.

I'm betting it's the sender.
