540i Tranny codes
I have acquired a '94 540i with a freshly rebuilt tranny. It had an engine code which turned out to be the Mass Air Sensor, which also triggered tranny codes. I now keep getting codes 100 and 105 in the tranny and it goes into "limp mode". These occur at low speeds as the car is accelerating.
The transmission appears to be shifting into all gears and I think it's OK, Do I most likely have a transmission computer issue or a sensor issue? This is getting frustrating!
