Replacing front strut on 528it

Well, I have 00' 528 IT with self leveling rear suspension and in need of replacing front shocks. I would like to replace it with Koni sports but I am getting conflicting story about whether shocks for 528 sedan would work on wagons. If anyone out there knows please let me know ASAP. I would very much appreciate your help.

I don't have an answer for you but, I recently inquired about front struts for my 1988 528e and the dealer needed the VIN# to determine the correct fit. They told me that not all BMW's of the same era or year are the same and the VIN# would determine what my car was originally supplied with. It can depend on if you car has "sport" "touring" or "stock" setup.

You may want to give your local BMW dealer a call just to find out what will fit your model & then purchase wherever you like.
