Headlight Upgrade

I am curious to know how to upgrade the headlights on a 1998 528i from the stock to the Halogen Angel Eyes as seen on the later models. In short of buying the kit to install. How do you wire these in and can it be done?

I did this last year. If you buy the Hella kit it should come with the jumper wiring harnesses to convert from the std lights to the angel eyes. I bought the kit from Bavarian Auto 800-535-2002 or ************ and it came with the harnesses. They'll price match so shop around before closing the deal with them.

The Hella kit is very straight forward and it should take you about an 1-2 hours to complete the switchover. One thing to be aware of is you will need to readjust your headlights. Best to take dial them in as best you can and then take it to an inspection shop that has the proper alignment on a wall that they can fine tune your lights to.

Did you do the Xenon upgrade or did your car already have that?

I did the Halogen upgrade, not the Xenon.
