Help w/ info for '97 540

[Bigtoe]

I need alittle insight. I currently own a '04 Expedition. While this vehicle does alot of things it is NOT very inspiring to drive.
I have learned from the 911 bbs that this is the first place to search out info on an unfamilier model.

Any comments on this series? I would like to lean toward a manual tranny. How is the factory nav system? Are their any problems with the V8? ect, ect.

Any help is good as I have never been in the positon to own a world class sedan.
