Onboard Computer ? for 01 E39
 

Hey all,

Im new here and have just bought my first BMW 2 months ago. I have a chance to get a brand new, informational display/onboard computer stereo unit. The one with the BC button that allows the many calculations and settings that mine doesnt offer now. Has anyone ever switched out these units? Could I do it myself? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I have a 2001 530 Sport automatic 17000 miles. Thanks in advance for your help.
