Windshield Washer No Worky / 2001 540i
When I pull the right control stalk towards me, the washer doesnt work. I do hear the washer motor working, but no fluid at the hood jets.
However, the intense mode - windshield and headlight washers- does work by pushing the button on the end of the stalk. Both resevoirs are filled to the brim. Both empty with use of intense mode. No leaks. Any thoughts folks?

I wish i could help. That sounds odd. I am having the drivers side nozzle not spray, but the passenger's works well. I am hoping for just a clogged nozzle, but your problem is very interesting. I hope someone answers you b/c I am curious now.

I have same problem with driver side nozzle... over time plastic tubing shrink from under hood heat , and yank tubing out of the nozzle socket. releasing tension by stretching will fix the problem. In my case nozzle clip broke, so I came out with home made clamp

Samuraj, Yep, it was the hose that had come loose from the nozzle. Washers are working fine after reattaching. Thanks for the tip.
