ruff idol (when cold) and hesitation

I'm new here... I have read past posts and it has been a big help... however still having issues...

90 525i M20 119k

I bought this car 3 weeks ago.... drove it 3 miles and it overheated.... found that it was the water pump that self destructed (plastic impeller)..... after overheating I took it down to the head gasket... then had the head tested and milled (out 5 thousands)

While I was there... I replaced the timing belt, water pump, belts, hoses ect.. new plugs...

Put it all back together an when cold it has a ruff idle until at operating temp... and a really bad hesitation when accelerating.... I have checked all the vacuum hoses that I can find.. fixed a few leaks and things have been better but still not right....

I have also checked the MAS, TPS, idol control valve, intake hoses +++, I have also done the carb cleaner spray around the intake and hoses.... but still have the problem....

HELP!!!
