strut inserts - add oil ?

i am putting in the new front ones today, got some gabriel's from autozone for what my budget will allow.

should I add a bit of oil into the tube, I see no reason to, some say yes some say no.

what do y'all think ?

done

I added 30cc of oil per instructions that came with inserts.

I did the whole job without airtools. Removing the top nut off the old strut required a pipe strap wrench around the bolt and an allen wrench to keep the strut itself from spinning while i turneed the pipe strap wrench. Took a long cheater bar on both the pipe strap wrench and allen wrench handles but got it done with no vise. total cost was $130 for the inserts and my time to get it done - a few hours per side.
