1995 525i with an intermittent brake light circuit warning
Hey all
I'm usually over on the p-car side of things. I'm writing this about my mothers car. It has it's glitches and such, but mechanically it seems to run like a top. I guess that is standard for all of the German cars. Don't expect them to work right completely, but expecting them to get you where you need to go is a good bet. AnywY, I replaced her brake light bulbs for her, and things wer peachy for a couple of weeks or so. Then suddenly it gives off a "brake light circuit" warning on the dash and requests her to refer to the manual. Thing is that I think she lost the manual, and the brake lights work just fine, even when giving this alert. Do you think that this is just another gremlin that got fed after midnight, or is there something going on that I should worry about. It IS mommy after all. Thanks in advance. Michael |

Could be an intermittent brake sensor...bad sensor or wire, pads to replace, or maybe else where??
