can I get by with an 89 525?

car has about 150 k, head replaced last year, dings on all panels, 5 speed. Looking for a get me by till I can fix the 944.

is this a dependable auto unless i find major leaks, noises, etc?

I am in a '93 (same platform I believe - e34) with 250k miles and it runs great. Can you get any smog test data to post.

looking at a few in kc. some have problems i may be able to fix. never looked at bmws lately, had a 318 and 2002 years ago.
