Fuel Injection Harness - 90 535i
I own a 90 535i w/ the M30 engine and the head gasket is bad but before I get the cylinder head off, I ran into a fuel injection harness problem. I'm having issues removing the fuel injection wiring harness. Per the Bentley manual, I'm supposed to remove both attachment bolts then "any remaining harness connectors and set the harness aside". The trouble is, I can figure out how to get under the wire harness bracket to reach the fuel injector connector clips. The steps in the Bentley manual seem pretty basic but I'm at a loss. Any ideas? I believe I'm missing a basic step that would make this as easy as the steps I've taken so far.

UPDATE - Well it was basic... I believe there should be a step in Bentley manual after the bolt removal that says "pull up on the harness REALLY hard." I've been working on this in a cold garage (~ 40 deg) and was concerned about breaking plastic. After warming up a bit and some frustration I got the harness to move.
