Help with Codes on 97 BMW 528i

I just bought a 1997 BMW 528i. I took it to Autozone to get it scanned. The check engine light is on and the Indicator lamp for shift electronics is on (Automatic Transmission). The car does not shift gears. I am 3000 RPM when I do 40 MPH. I took it to Autozone to perform a scan. Here are the results:

Replace both O2 sensors
Fuel Control (bank 1 sensor1)
EVAP Purge function plausibility
Cylinder 1 misfire condition

My plan:

Replace spark plugs, inspect wires.
Change oil and Filter
Replace O2 Sensors

Would the above codes caused the transmision to go on a lock for safety reasons? I am hoping the transmission is good. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Fredy,
I have a 98 528i. I posted a question a few days ago.
My car is not shifting and had to take it to the shop due to several dash lights on indicating several potential problems.
However, I noticed that I could down shift manually from D to 3 and push the lever back to D and would cause the tranny to upshift so that I would not rev the engine to 3000 rpm or so at 40 mph.
In regards to the misfiring. My car has had that on 3 cylinders at different times. I replaced the ignition coils for each of those cylinders. I paid about $60 for each coil and took me about 10 minutes to replace. They are very easy to replace. They are located under the plastic engine cover. You should unscrew the wiring connector at the strut tower (passenger side) to be safe. Two 10-mm bolts hold the ignition coil/sparkplug boot in place. There is a metal clip that must be pulled up to unplug the wiring to each coil. It has side slots that lock the coil in place. Once pulled up the coil will unplug.
I may have a photo of what it looks like but I can't figure out how to attach it here. I could send it to an email address if you think it will help.
I hope this helps. Good luck
Raul

Thanks for your advice. I changed the oil and I founf the transmission harness disconected. I conecteted and now is worst. The transmission goes to second gear and once I reach 25 mph the RPMs jump and the car does not go any faster. I took it to autozone. The code is incorrect gear ratio 3 and 4. Any suggestions?
