To all owner of the m62tu, it's taken almost a month to get all the parts and special tools together for doing this job. I have spent almost $1500.00 in parts and I'm going for it this weekend. Also I would like to note that the Bentley e39 with m62tu engine, vanos system is not covered at all in the service manual. Why Bentley says it cover my year and engine, I don't know I have e-mailed them several times and haven't gotten one reply.I will never buy anything from them again.

you may be able to find info about the engine overhaul in the Range Rover manual,
its called RAVE
do a search for Rave downloads and check it out,

NOTE Range Rover used the M62 in 2003 2004 2005 full sized RR

Fixxed it huge, job next time I do it, it's will take a 1/4 of the time.
