Engine Light on, AGAIN
My 1997 528i has had a recurring problem of having the yellow Engine Light appear. The dealer originally diagnosed the problem, turned off the light, and then 6 months later it came back on. The second time they said it was an emissions problem, changed a pump, turned off the light, and yet, voila, it has come back on. Not sure I'm getting the best service from the dealer, and a separate mechanic is telling me that the sensor codes for the light are reading as: MOD12 and MOD122OP2, or as P1421 and P1423. Can someone translate these codes?
