lifting a 530I 2003

Can you lift the front of the car with a floor jack using the brace under the motor, it has a pad there just like the rocker panels? Then I could put my jack stands under the rocker panels to do my arms and shocks.
Thanks for your help,
Steve

I assume it is like the E36 and E46 so yes you can lift it with the front brace. You probably wont be able to reach it though without another jack to get the car up a few inches.

Thanks for the answer, I was pretty sure I could lift it there.
