Specific things to look for in a 2002

I generally know where to look for for rust having dealt with a 914...and gosh what a nightmare my car was when I got it.

Are there any areas that are prone to rust on a 2002?

Anything else that really needs to be looked at?

I have a pretty good idea of what to look for in the car...drivetrain, suspension...etc.

Thanks, Paul

by the way, anyone in Atlanta with a compression guage? What should the compression values be...good, ok, excellent.

Thanks for the advice Brian. I was going to go look at a 73 tii, but didn't get the chance to get out last weekend because of the "horrible weather" in Atlanta. Not that I know all that much about the 2002's, (something I should research more) but does the tii version mean that it came with fuel injection? and without tii...means carbs? Thanks,
Paul

By the way, they are all 4 cylinders, right?
