1984 BMW 633csi

This past Spring I purchased a barn find 1984 BMW 633csi. It sat for 20 years but runs well. But having sat for so long and being 36 years olds, it has some issues. It has the Bosch Motronic Basic Fuel Injection system with a 15-pin round diagnostic connector. I am trying to locate an adapter for this connector so I can read it's diagnostic codes. Any Help?
The Bosch Motronic system upgraded to the 1.1, 1.2 & 1.3 with a 20-pin round connector which I have found but doesn't help me.
Thanks in advance for your comments and help.

It might be difficult to draw the diagnostic codes out of that system. It really does not generate and store codes like the current batch of cars.
Find online a copy of the Electrical Troubleshooting Guide for your year and model of car. The e28 Bentley manual is also helpful.
The diagnostic port provides test points for charging system voltage, starter signal, and others based on model build year and engine control module, but no direct failure mode codes.
