full throttle problem and rough idle

its a 635 csi from 86. the car idles a little rough, but runs fine, unless i push the gas pedal all the way to the floor. i can give it 3/4 throttle, but as soon as i give it a little too much, it cuts out completely, and if i let off the gas, it runs fine again.
i have checked everything in the fuel system (new filter, both pumps new, injectors flushed and balanced, pressure regulator is fine)
maybe someone has had something like that?

i appreciate any help

My 633 does that, My problem is a injector leak, as far as the idle goes. Sometimes, I can launch mine partial throttle and then climb on it, and it will fall on its face, like I ran out of gas, then it gathers back up and goes. I havent fixed the injector yet, so I dont know if this is the problem or not.

thanks for your reply, but i already fixed the problem. after checking almost everything else, i found it to be a loose ground connection for the ECU, and fuel injection.
i tightened the screws, and she runs perfectly, so, lets just hope it stays that way.

I had an identical probem with an 86 735i

It turned out it was the boot to the throttle body, it had some cracks in it where you couldn't see them... well, that and also some corrosion existed on the large connector that's adjacent to the fuse block in the engine compartment.
