Oil service light "Reset"
Hi,
I have 96-750iL, anybody knows how to reset Oil Service Light Indicator--? Where can I buy instrument to reset Oil Service. What happen if I change oil & filter without doing oil service reset--? Thanks |

Oil Service Reset
Peake tools, available at BAVAUTO and maybe even here at Pelican parts will reset oil and maintenance service lights. Even jumpering pins 7 and 19 in the data link connector will reset the light (do not do this if unfamnilar with the procedure). Not resetiing the light causes no problems it just delays you knowing when the computer thinks the next service is due.
