service indicator cleared but CE come back on...
I cleared the SI using the pin 7 ground process. I had gone to the inspection stage and then the service engine soon light had come on. I cleared and reset the systme using both the key/odom button and then used the pin 7 grnd approach.
The service bars has been reset but then after two ignitions the service eng light came back on... I plan to use the ODBII to get any codes and clear it but I was wondering if the fact that I used two approches to reset within a twenty minute period had anything to do with the light coming back on...or is the system smart enough to know I used a hack method to clear and so it want to punish me for my DIY attempt????

problem CE fixed
Ok so I went to autozone and hooked up the ODBII reader whcih gave a camshaft postioning sensor high reistence reading... I suspect the grounding triggered this event as I cleared the CE light with the tester and it hasnt come back on... You cant beat the internet for knowledge...
