1088 735iL

I don't have a repair manual yet but was wondering if someone can tell me where I would find the Hot Water Valve. According to the dealer, this valve regulates the heat and A/C in the vehicle. Right now, Half of my vents blow cold A/C, the other half blow warm to hot air. I am trying to replace the valve but first i want to see what it looks like.

Tks,
Frank

Heat and AC

The water valve or auxiliary heater valve is located in the engine compartment, bolted to firewall just in front of driver. There is a plastic cover over the valve and hoses and taking off the cover exposes the valve. If you have a B+ remopte jumper post for jump sytarting the car this valve should be next to the B+ post.
