Blinkers NOT working!! HELP!!

I just bought a 1991 BMW 735i. The blinkers are not working. We thought the problem is the fuses. We checked and changed almost all of the fuses but it still does not work.

I realised it did not have a flasher Relay. We replaced that with a new one and the flasher just keeps blinking and would not go off.

Please I need help. Without the blinkers I cannot drive the car. Everything else is fine but for the blinkers that does with work without the relay and when you put the relay on there, it just keep flashing and does not go off.

Please Help!!

Which flasher keeps blinking and will not go off? Are your hazard lights flashing, meaning all four turn signals?

Yes! The hazard light is flashing. All four turn signals just keeps flashing and will not go off unless we take off the fasher relay before it stops. Please help!!

Test the relay then pull the hazard switch, see if it stops and test it.

Finally I think even in 91 BMW's were designed to turn on the flashers in the event of an accident. I think it might be tied to the air bag deployment. I don't know how this system is reset.

Is there any change when you use the turn signals or turn the hazards on and off.

As soon as we put the flasher relay on there it starts flashing and the flasher does not go off even if we try to turn it off. Looks like the flasher button just goes on an automatic mode. We press the switch to turn it off and it just keeps flashing.

Apparently it was the last thing I mentioned.

I only searched around for a second but this appears to be "it" exactly.
