EDC Shock Rebuilds?

Hi,

Has anyone heard of someone rebuilding the EDC shocks?

I've got a front left shock that is completey shot, and the price here in the UK is about £440 ( $850 ) each.

I lnow from the bike side of things that rebuilding shocks (ohlins etc) is a routine thing.

But can it be done for E38 EDC shocks?
