Help, how do I turn off the electric fan and do I need it to drive?

Is the car drivable if I turn off the electric fan? It won't shut off even when car is shut off. thanks

just pull the fuse or the relay. Would be helpful if you indicate more details such as model year etc.
That is probably a sticking relay.
Can be driven under normal conditions without traffic jam and stop and go and if you drive highway so that the wind is cooling. But watch the indicator of the coolant.
Better repair asap, otherwise if engine gets too hot, that might cause damage to the headgaskets.

the only electric fan i know of on any bmw fan is the air conditioning fan, no you don't need it to drive it won't affect anything except your air conditioning while you're stopped. when moving it should be fine but be prepared to roll your windows down in traffic
