535i transmission problems
Hi I have a 535i transmission don't go in gear I put in d and go back to p please let me know where to look to fixed thanks

Hello and welcome to the forum! Are you able to pull any codes? There could be several reasons for the issue - gathering the codes should give you a definitive answer as to where the issue is coming from.

which 5 series model do you have? Built year/ E34 535i? That has a ZF 4HP22.
If so, check the adjustment of the bowden cable on the side of the trans, which goes from the shift lever to the transmission.
