Fun at thunderhill, is this a decent time?
I realize that without much experience, I shouldn't pay attention to lap times, however I had someone video taping my laps and by the end of the day I got a 2:35. The car is a 1987 325IS with HR springs, bilstein shocks, and HR sway bars (otherwise stock). However, this was on M+S all season tires and the track had a chicane before turn 1 and another chicane before turn 8. Is this a decent time at Thunderhill under those conditions for a beginner? (also no bypass on 5)

Went again, no chicanes this time and I only timed one lap. That one timed lap was a 2:30, but I'm guessing it didn't happen to be my fastest. I'm slow, but getting a little less slow and enjoying every minute of it.
 By the way, as everyone has already said, these cars make wonderful track toys!
