M Logo Eibach Pro Kit or H&R Sport springs???

Hello there,

I'm thinking about upgrading my springs but can't seem to decide which would be best for street use. I currently have Bilsteins Sports shock/struts on my m3 and they're cool, but I want a sportier look. I live in San Francisco and the streets aren't the smoothest out there so I'm trying to avoid any kidney jarring springs. Any advice or opinions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum. My experience has been that Eibachs might be a bit better for the street, you've got exactly the same driving conditions I have here in Carmel. I have H&R's and they are a bit stiff for some of the conditions here. Eibachs may be better for your needs. Maybe someone else will have some info on this.

Thanks Gibson for your input. But why is it that everyone has H&R's more than Eibach? I'm was actually thinking about Eibach's, but not heard much about them. And do you know which of the springs are Linear and Progressive? Thanks again.

Good question. H&R markets very well and they make a good product. Eibach does not have the marketing behing them but make an excellent product. I'll find out which is which and let you know.

Eibach Pro Kit and Sportline kits are both progressive, the Sportline lowers even further than the Pro kit does.
H&R does provide progressive rate springs but I believe they also make linear springs to be careful to check which one your are getting. Most companies these days offer street springs that are progressive, most people prefer it.
