1990 325ix noise from down under?

My 90 325ix is creating some pretty bad vibrations that seem to be coming from the mid to rear undercarraige. How can I diagnose this? In the research I've done so far it's possible that it's the center main bearing and/or the flex disc/guibo. If you have any advice I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,
John

John, I ran this by the local BMW techs at the BMW store and they said you are on the right track with the parts you are
considering. There is not much else to replace under there and those items cause a lot of the problems they are fixing.
Let us know what you find.

Ed,
It ended up being a bad rear wheel bearing that was causing the vibrations.
Still in the process of working out some other issues.

John
