rear stand adaptor
does anyone know of an adaptor bushing available to use on another single swingarm stand (like ducati) for the large hole in the new bikes?

I am using the factory stand which is of very high quality. It can be used on all the other 05 twin units as well and works great. More expensive than I would wish but holds it value and is easy to sale. I hoist the front end up for front tire change however as this is faster and easier in some ways than the factory front end lift. Good luck finding the type you are looking for but remember..............the rear end of a K12S or R is heavy and you will need a long handle to lift it.

thanx for the advice. i was hoping to find an adaptor that would enlarge the business end of my ducati stand. but, you may be right about the weight. cycle cat has a new easy lift stand that would probably be good as well.

On a recent visit to Southbank BMW (Melbourne), I was chatting to the sales rep about various K1200S matters and the genuine BMW rear stand was quoted at around $800.00.
Aussie riders are buying the Anderson stand for around $265-285.00. www.andersonstands.com Cheers Trevor

I was fortunate to purchase a used BMW/ factory rear stand for $400 Cdn from the original owner.
The stand is very impressive. Has anyone purchased the BMW front stand? |
