Clutch Issues
Arrgh…
Replaced Main Seals…replaced Clutch. Re-installed the tranny. Now the Clutch Slave is about an inch from seating on the transmission, with pressing the piston in until it stops. Dumb question…any idea what it is that I could be doing wrong? I mean…other than tackling something obviously over my head….

I would guess the push rod is not engaged correctly in the clutch release spring or maybe you installed it reverse...

You are 100% correct. I had the pushrod backwards. It only made sense to my pea-brain that the little nub would push on the spring. Lesson learned; take more, and better, photos. Thanks for your help. And again, a million thanks for this forum.

I'm glad it was that simple. Cool to be able to help someone on the other side of the world.
