Long Way Up

Anyone starting to watch this latest iteration? It's on Apple TV.

I've only seen one episode so far. But it does make the Harley LiveWire electric bikes look pretty cool.. If they were affordable I'd buy one.

The future is now....

On episode three... so far a lot of product placement, worrying about going out with prototype vehicles, and and lots and lots of worrying about charging and charging stations.... Be nice to get to the culture and scenery of the region as opposed to worrying about range remaining all the time. To be far they did travel with a big ass diesel generator on a flatbed truck "for emergencies". Hoping it gets better in future episodes! Still like the chemistry between the guys, and Claudio has a drone now for photography!

first one was brilliant. second not so bad.

it's just that when you start by circling the globe it's hard to follow that.

alexanian. or however you spell his name creates too much drama for me. I watched the first episode. seems like long way down, exaggerating all the what could go wrong stuff. I may be wrong. and will eventually watch it all.

Well, the first couple episodes always start slow with planning, whining, etc.

I'm sure this will be the last one, 13 years since they did Long Way Down...

It will always be hard to beat the first one, now I look at these as a way to see places I'll never go.

For me the second one had way too much production interference, we'll see how this one plays out. Baldy the owner of ADV interviewed Charley and said he loved the first 10 episodes so that bodes well.

I have watched 3. Don't like that they aren't talking about the actual range (or I missed it). I think in the 2nd or 3rd episode they talk about trying to do 200 miles in a day.

I would like to get the inside scoop on how many miles/person they have flown. How many support vehicles are petrol or diesel.

I would imagine that two guys on conventional motorcycles with no production support would be far "greener".

Bailed out after 15 minutes.... shamefully obvious they were trying to recreate Long Way Round. Now THAT would be worth watching again.... think I will.
