I bet those spark plugs are every bit as effective as SSO* Fuel Additive (*Super Snake Oil).... They do have a side benefit - guaranteed to flatten your wallet....

Those remind me of the oil shields we'd put in old Chevy 350 V8's when they fouled plugs all the time from excess oil consumption. They were way cheaper back in the day though.

If you want to really improve the spark on a dual plug Oilhead make sure it has a 2nd Load Relay to power the coils directly from the battery rather than through the key switch. It makes a huge improvement. https://forums.bmwmoa.org/showthread.php?79888-R1150RT-2nd-Load-Relay-for-Twin-Spark

At $150.00 plus USD pretty spendy and I'd bet money any gains in performance ( if any) would not be noticeable.

No idea about the gizmo but interesting who is actually selling it He was the major mover and shaker when it came to tuning Beemers in the UK. but I was lead to believe he sold up and retired.
