Rear Brake Caliper with rounded off bleeder

Hi Guys,

Any tips on how to replace the rear brake caliper bleeder valve? It's slightly rounded off
and really solid, Can I use heat?

Thx a bunch,
Slick...

Try using a 6 sided socket rather than a 12 sided socket? It can’t slip in the same manner so it should get the job done.

Do the other tips first and use heat as a last resort. I think if I was going to use heat, I would pull the caliper apart first so I wouldn't destroy any seals if I applied a little too much heat.

Cheers
