I second that Mathew. If economy/my bizz was better i'd be piloting a 999 or ST4S!

I don't know. My duc cost less, and has never needed as many parts replaced or adjusted as my beemer. So, cheap? Maybe not. Cheaper? (than bmw) Definitely.

I think Ducati's business is soft... in an absolute measure. Relative to other manufacturers I think they are OK. As the article noted the industry has contracted this winter, and I see evidence of this with many makes.

Do agree the 999 is sweet...

and so is the ST4s...

Hmm, maybe an ST4S-ABS will be in my recent-future.

That (ST4s) would be a sweet bike *if* it looks weren't compromised by removing the panniers. You have to remove the mounting brackets, a rather involved process, when the bags are off, or it looks absolutely unacceptable. They could learn from BMW there.

...Market share down double digits in US market. More than expected. American investing company nervous. Italians have to enjoy cold espresso.

Cold Espresso?? That would start a riot here in the Northwest!

Thanks JF. Maybe we can put together a Ducati Group Buy on this site?
