Looking for a specific R1100S

One of my Christmas presents in December of 2002 was a 2003 R1100SA n Phoenix Grey Metallic. Fool that I was (am), I traded it in on a K1200R on 06/04/05 at Gina's BMW in Iowa City, Iowa. I'm hoping someone here owns that bike or knows who owns that bike. It has sentimental value and I'd like to see if it's still on the road. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

VIN info would be the biggest helpful way to track it down.

I have the VIN number. Is there a site I could use to track with that number?

Carfax will tell you where it's registered. You might try a google search and see if it pops up for sale somewhere.

Carfax it. A lot of forums have people that will do Carfax checks for $2-3 instead of paying full price..
Find out where it's registered and call the local BMW dealer, unless you are really lucky and it shows service info. Also reach out to the local club in that area, post on their FB page.

Back in the old, olden days, people were registering on the Micapeak registry.

Try it, may or may not help these days.

MICAPEAK.
