What *is* this stuff?
It's called Rusteco!
A quick note to anyone who's done battle with rust/corrosion. I've just ordered another 2.5 gal. cube of Rusteco R-200-3 agent. This is the second cube I've ordered over the past several years. You may think that this product is expensive at first, but trust me, it's not when you consider it's re-useable via coffee-filtering the micro-junk out of your used solution. Once you wipe the rust off, you can paint right over the treated area w/o any other major preparation. Just don't rinse w/water due to flash rusting. It's the "bee's knees" for tank rust removal as well. I just bought a Yamaha TDR250 which needs some TLC, and Rusteco has come through for me again. I have no affiliation w/this company...it's just that I'm so impressed with their product I had to crow about it. See info below. It can be purchased worldwide. Give it a shot...you'll like it!!! Geez, I remember rust growing up in Chicago, but haven't seen any for years!
