RBMann, thanks for posting these trips and the great pictures. I live vicariously through your and Ralfs adventures. Hopefully one day soon I will get to retire and take some of these trips myself LOL! Thanks again for taking the time to post this.

I am not retired, Chris... I just save for it and then make time.
Priorities!

That actually looked like an amazing trip, and thanks for the photography Rick - stopping to smell the roses along the way. You have a good eye for interesting things that most people will never see.
And your routes, for sure, most people will never take. Back roads America. Many people seem to just crank the bike up to 90 mph and blast from point A to B...

I had to laugh at the old truck with the boulder in the back chained to another boulder...

Hi Bill, yep still about just mainly been lurking for a while LOL. Maybe we can get together for a ride one of these days after it warms up again.

Hi Ralf, thanks for the advice, time seems to be more of an issue these days... That and finding a riding partner. My old riding buddy is in socal, so we don't get together that often. I see your in San Diego, I spent most of my life in North county before moving out here. Sure do miss the Mexican food.

.

Sounds good to me. I was going through my phone last week and noticed I still had your ph #.... Then seeing you post was kind of cool... Definitely could use an excuse to get up there and ride hwy 90 again.

Ricky lives in Seatte... I see him once a year for about 3 weeks. The rest is email or phone...

Already planing next year... it's going to be different, less miles, more in depth. We had the idea of revisiting place from before, explore some and also to involve more hot springs...

Turns out that those are pretty nice, after a day of riding.

What a great trip Rick and Ralph. Glad I was a small part of it!
Also.......that canyon you mentioned near Salt Lake City......it is a route that lots of cyclists use.....I have cycled it myself as a good friend lives in that canyon.

Cheers
