Clock is probably just a fuse... Is the battery holding a charge? Has the bike been in storage? Jump starting should not cause these problems, unless he reversed polarity when attaching the cables.

It's probably not what he did.

Did you replace the battery right after the jump?
How was it jumped? Did you take all the body panels off or did he attach somewhere else?

Was it running perfectly the day before he jumped it, or had it sat for a while?

If you lifted the tank to get to the battery check that the lower throttle cables are seated correctly in the ferrules at the intakes.

Just what I was thinking.

That's a bit cold and too harsh Drop, no? Where is that unlike button you mentioned in the other thread??

If it were me, I'd have Jerry working overtime on fixing what he messed up without any alcoholic refreshments until done - that'd teach him a lesson...

Regarding the clock. As said above, probably a fuse.

Mine went out after I had been messing around with some other things. I thought I was going to have to replace it. It costs over $200 for the new clock!

Then I read it may be the fuse. So, $1 vs over $200.

Fuse box is mounted on the inside of the left body panel. You can access it without taking off the body panel.
