I built the bike a few years ago with the help of some friends. It was a big case of mission creep helped along by crashing my original R90S. I put up the site as I built the bike to sort of generate some excitement with my friends to help the project maintain it's momentum. There's nothing worse than a half finished great idea and I was pretty determined to see things through. Anyway the whole story is up on the web and can be seen at:

http://www.teamincomplete.com/boxerintro.htm

I built this bike as I loved BMW's and just wanted a super fast cafe bike that didn't handle like it was from the 70's. I also started racing at about the same time (which influenced it's design) and after the bike was done I lost momentum to build the engine to the hilt as racing took all of my time and money. I'll get back to it as I've decided to not contest a championship this year so I can enjoy touring on my new S and motorcycling in general.

Best,

Gregor

It really is top rate, and I hate to say it, I'd trade my S for one as I just cant resist funky bikes. That is the best looking BMW to my eyes and on my top list of machines to own if I was rich. Too bad there is only one. =)

Can wait to look over your site. Thanks for the info. =)
