parts cd ?
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone had any insight as to whether or not the BMW TIS and ETK CD's are beneficial to an avid BMW owner. Also, how much do they cost? I found the 2 CD's at this website: Any feedback would be appreciated. |

To a BMW car owner, maybe.

The parts CD (ETK) does contain all the Motorcycle information. I have found it very useful. The technical documentation (TIS) is cars only.
The CDs can be had for next to nothing - bootlegs I imagine. ![]() best, Dave |

Thanks for setting me straight David
I bought the hardcopy service manual, and had kind souls send me the softcopy thereof. The parts CD I could use. Anyone know how far back the Parts CD goes for bikes? Anyone that knows a better source than this ebay deal, I'd love to hear from. Email or PM are both good. thanks roger

Jeff Clark indicated a while back he had one. I think he said it was part of a car parts C.D.
. I wanted a copy but it was something that fell through the cracks. If anyone has one (incl. Jeff) you can send it to me and I'll burn some copies. . Pat .

Looks like the ETK (parts) CD goes back to 1976, R60-R80 & R100.
Of course it includes K bikes and oilheads, F series and even the C1! Makes parts ordering much faster and more "accurate." best, Dave |
